Hi, anyone out there with Freibergs? Most posts are rather dated

I was diagnosed with Freibergs a year after being told I had tendonitis. As it was stage 5 they quickly operated 2 years ago, for the first 6 months I was pleased but then gradually the pain started again and worse 2 of my toes hammered.. I have just had surgery again (11 days ago)  and now have 4 wounds no knuckles in 2 toes and wires for 6 weeks, can anyone tell me if this is going to work or is it a forever problem? walking with a limp for over 3 years has caused me other problems and my sacroiliac joint is playing up, that is actually agony if it goes and completely debilitating, I'm thinking it's due to my posture and my limp. What are your views and experiences of this disease please? Regards Karen
