Hi. Sorry to hear that you're in so much pain.

When I was at my worst with IBS Type D (which was pretty horrendous) I was presribed audomonal by my consultant which seriously helped with the spasms and cramps. I was at the end of my tether as nothing else worked for me. It would be helpful to know a bit about your diet too. After a bad bout I would only eat plain food- white and gluten free bread mostly and for a couple of days. This usually settled me down. Ginger (especially ginger root) and peppermint (particularly in tea or oil) really helped me too. Everyone has their own triggers and therapies though which helps.

Hi take Wheat and all sugar out of your diet I'm sure that's been my problem as it will give you BV as well due to yeast made by both. I'm wary of anything I eat it's a mine field my Dr said to try the Fodmap diet look it up potatoes eases IBS my cousin put me onto that as she has it quite bad she sticks to fish to, but it is trial and effort I agree Hot water bottle eases cramps for me and my cousin I place a doughnut cushion under me in chair and my car.as it's a painful condition,to get through a day with it .I drink only bottled water no tap water even if it's been boiled I'm that wary since getting IBS I don't drink fizzy drinks ever that can cause probs . Nice to chat ,about this IBS which affects a lot of people these days ,and getting ones diet tips on this forum x

    Hi

Try Bimuno, ive just discovered it and its cured my ibs, I used to take buscopan which are very good too.

I find my symtoms are all due to food intolerance, foods such as cauliflower, coleslaw, bread, drried fruits, the list is endless. Good luck

Thanks Marie I have seen ads for Bimuno, will get some tomorrow,it's good when someone on forum gives a good feedback on a products like this one.i think food stuff a big cause of it it's just finding it out,I suffer from eczema, had that from a child, all allergy linked ,I love kippers healthy, that's given my IBS not a good couple of days,is it because they're smoked ,my cousin with IBS gets terrible heartburn eating them. I've stopped having all sugars, wheat and oats as I don't know if that's a problem ,I do keep watch on what I digest over a time trying to find said culprits ,I am aware wheat and any sugar will give you candida, I've done the glass water test over 5 days so far and that's shown I have that ,years ago when you went to see a Dr first thing they said was stick your tongue out Why do Drs no longer do that same with your eyes to see if you were anaemic again no longer done .my family only talking about that lately ?Marie will let you know how the Bimuno goes nothing ventured hey glad it worked for you .thanks again

    Hi Marlene

I'm 59 and have had fybromyalgia since is was 34. I was once told I had candida and the water test was positive, ibs goes hand in hand with fybromyalgia. I hardly ever go to the doctor but he has never asked to look at my tongue, docs seems to only want to dish out prescriptions for pills, most of which give side effects.

I also recently started taking co enzyme q10 which has fixed my high blood pressure, so much so i no longer take beta blockers and my palpitations have gone, I have so much energy and haven't felt this good for years. Having tried everything under the sun, I found evening primrose oil very good for eczema, but take them at night otherwise they repeat on you, try juicing fruit and veg, its fantastic for your skin and doesn't upset the bowel. Once again, good luck and I look forwatd to hearing if the bimuno powders work for you
