Hi everyone, I have just been told by my GP that I have LS. All help gratefully received.

I have another autoimmune disease called ITP its a rare blood disorder, and managed with an immune suppressant and injections. I have had this for 3 years and only just diagnosed with LS and I have been prescribed steriod cream. I am concerned reading the comments that this is not going to be easy to cope with. Any advice?

Hi I've just been diagnosed too! And have other autoimmune conditions. It's quite overwhelming reading everything and seeing how long it can cause flares for. How are you getting on? X

Everyone's situation is different and the things we respond to are also different so it's tough to give general advice. Often when treatment first begins it is difficult and can take some time before it gets under control. Watch the Dr Goldstein video.
