hi everyone my name is charlotte i have written in before , i suffer with a over active thyroid im writting in with my update . well i havent felt to bad considering the made ruch up to christmas..i have been to hospital where i seen my doctor who said my thyroid is now slightly under active now , im now taking 50mg levothyrixine aday as well as 20mg of carbimazole .the doctor has told me that my eyes are slightly better [ not as puffy] but wont get better until i have my thyriod out or radio iodine , i have to go back in 4 mounths to talk about which one is best for me.. im abit nervous but i know i havent much choice .feelin abit low at the moment i have to ring my doctor tomorrow i have noticed my hair is falling out more than usuall which is starting to worry me .i dont know if its the tablets or because my thyriod is slightly under , my children are fed up of clearing up my hair thats everywhere sad i would love to hear from any of you thanks take care x

    hi lol dif sam just realised there is 2 of us. i just wanted to ask how old you were becauce im 16 and they said to me i will proberbly have to take the iodean thingy but i dont want to becouse i have herd such bad things about it like you are much more likely to have dessabled childern or can sturgle getting pregant i was just wondering what your vews on this were and weather you had considerd haveing the oporation to remove it becouse i donot no it just dosnt seem very well nown about some people are telling me its great and outhers are telling me sont ever take it im so confused just thought you may be able to help

    im aman from India.I have been diagnosed with Thyrotoxicosis with exophthalmus of right eye,iwas taking carbimazole 10mg thrice a day along with a homeopathic medicine when i developed skin rash with infection in utrine track.i think your falling hairs migh be due to carbimazole.all the best.
