Just started taking B vits a few weeks ago.  My energy levels have increased amazingly.  My husband is so impressed that he is taking them also.  We have noticed a general improvement in our health.  Hope it doesn't wear off like so many other things I have tried.  Went on holiday two weeks ago to Gran Canaria.  I have walked so much that I lost 6 lbs despite staying in a Hotel with the most amazing food ever.  That is no mean feat for me as I wear a brace on my foot to keep my foot aligned properly and find walking too much very painful.  (Still waiting for surgeon to decide my fate). Somehow being more active has actually improved my pain levels.  My foot is sore but I am fitter and ache less generally. My joint pains are so much less.  I have realised that I let the pain in my foot dictate to me how I lived.  Not any more.

Interesting - I have a good friend who seems to be displaying some peri or meno symptoms, like hot flashes every hour or so, disturbed sleep, and as well as extreme irritability and short temper with me and my absentmindedness/forgetfulness (not a good combination!) but she also seems to be incredibly tired all the time - is it B6 you take? She has just started taking iron tablets to see if that helps, but I wonder if what you suggest, Chrisy, would help her? Thanks - just have to suggest it without her biting my head off - or me forgetting what it was I wanted to recommend, now!
