Unable to relax/laugh.  Prescribed 50mg setraline four weeks ago, but have noticed no improvement as yet.

Was suffering from stress at time.

Can anyone give me any hope?   Ta.

I certainly can. Just keep taking them. They will work. Keep doing your normal things, no matter how hard. You're not in danger, even though you may feel it. Sertraline are fantastic. They will work. Just give them another month, then you'll start to feel a different.....

Hi Jude, if you haven't had any bad side effects you might want to talk to your and see if you should increase your dose. 50 mg. is a lower dose. Then again, it takes awhile to notice any improvement.

Hi jude  yes there is light at the end of the tunnel  but it is early days yet  give it  couple more weeks   if no improvement it may mean you need higher strength  in any case  you should get regular reviews from your doctor   This is a great site for support and help so keep posting and good luck
