Hi hippies

Dear hippies, I have been back at work for six weeks now, please don't do what I have done, I felt good so I slipped into my old ways, I lifted a ramp for an elderly guest, and I really hurt my new hip. Please look after your bodies. I felt normal again, so I didn't realize that I am still healing. Please just pamper yourself as long as you can, its a big op as you all know, so rest , watch your favourite movies dont do what I have done love huggies to you all xxx

    Hi sweet Tina,

Awww ....i am sorry to read this ... but it is a great warning from your body ...

stop beating yourself up okay -- let your body know that you are grateful for the warning - observe the 90 degree rule for a bit longer, try no to twist or lift yet ..

    Tender loving care ...

you are doing fine and I am sure that they are very happy that you are back at work ...

    big warm hug

Hi debbie , yes that is best , went back to work after six weeks, way too soon. Three months is how long I wish that I would have waited, especially with your job. Rest and go back when you really feel ready love hugs xxx

So sorry, Tina! May it heal quickly! Yes, we must all learn not to overdo things. Tissue and bone take time to fully heal. Best wishes!

    Oh Tina!

So so easy to forget! As Renee says, don't beat yourself up, just learn from it and say no next time. Very hard to do but absolutely essential for your future health.

i'm finding it hard to step back, but keep in mind the long game - my ongoing long term health.

Be kind to yourself, have a bit of comfort food, watch your favourite movie and chill!

    Love & hugs
