Hi I am new and would like some hope

So I have compensated Liver cirrhosis.

My Doctor, specialist, isnt really the most hopeful of people, but hasnt said anything really regarding my condition. Just that i will get three monthly scans and blood tests and appointments with her. My first appointment is coming up in three days. physically, about from high anxiety, i dont feel sick at all. Any ankle swelling that i did have is now gone. I have been doing some regular walking. Life in general has been a bit blah. Lost my job (not because of alcohol just lost my job), my dog died. So I am trying to stay positive, have not had any alcohol in almost a year now. Mad at myself. I guess i just want some hope, that doing all the right things, will mean that i can live reasonably normally. Im not in pain, not yellow, body seems to be doing its job with normal bodily functions. Apart from acne(thank you menopause for that delight).

so Hi, that is me. anyone out there that can give me some hope?
