Hi I had a total hip replacement 10 days ago, the hips OK but get lot of pain in my calf and ankel,

Is this normal.

    Pain in the calf I believe is a very serious matter and I think you are supossed to call the codoctor right away or go to the emergency room.  No w it may make a dfference which kind of operation you had --anterior or posterior but it cann't hurt for you to (PLEASE!) check it out somewhere in addition to this venu--i.e. call you r doctor.  NOW !

    Pain in the calf is said to be a definite cause for a call to your docotr , as I remember>

    Hi

    I am not sure what exactly you are experiencing but better to ask your doctor to ensure you are ok. I have constant pain in my knee which shoots through the lower leg and foot. I have been told I have femoral nerve damage but that is shown in the thigh.

    Please follow up.
