I was doing as expected but for some reason about 2 weeks ago it began to be painful going up stairs. When I stepped on that leg, would get painful tingling sensation and leg would become non weight bearing. If I start with good leg and put operated leg on same step there is no problem. Is it common to get better and then have something like this happen. Was and is discouraging

ocean waves, I had my surgery 3 years ago and have read this board for 3 years now. What you are describing is not usual and you should go see your doctor as soon as possible. I second the advice to stay off of that leg, use crutches or a walker between now and when you can get in to see the doctor. There is something going on in there and you do not want to further damage anything. You might have a staph infection going on in there. Yes when you get a toothache, that is a staph infection and it can travel to your hip. Have you had a bad sinus infection or anything in the last month or so?

Jodi-France. Thank you for the information. I am one of these people who thinks if i wait long enough it will just go away. Have not had sinus infection but lost crown off tooth and that exposure would be place for infection. I will definitely call my surgeon tomorrow morning. Thank you for advise. Will send message when I find out the problem. So if anyone else has these weird symptoms will know the cause
