    Hi Traci,

I know there are plenty of women in this group who would love to help you.  No one should eve feel this way.

But I will admit it's hard to know where to start.  Can you be more detailed about your meno statis, other health conditions, and anything you have tried so far?

It might be a place where many of us could jump in and offer something.

Try some essential oils (lavender and orange are some I used). They have helped me. I also found some meditation sounds that I downloaded on my phone (falling rain was my favorite).

    Magnesium, BComplex, Vitamin D3

    Bach's rescue remedy

    Bach Flower Aspen

And stay off the sugar!  Mine came on after I baked and ate a batch of gingersnap cookies.  Sugar gets me everytime and I have the biggest sweet tooth you can ever imagine smile

I have been living on these the past few days.  I have been dealing with it too, but the vitamins and bach remedies have been really taking the edge off for me.  It has not been fun.  You will get through it, you are strong.

Anxiety is so hard! I know how u feel. Always living in the shadow of worry. No moment ever gets to be perfect because of it. I wish I knew how to help. Try meditation. Try to read philosophy books. Some are helpful. Hope u are feeling better.

    Hi Traci,

Gailannie is right. We'd all love to help.

I have very bad anxiety, so I know where you are coming from. I do 3 things (or try to!) every day to manage.

I write 3 'anxiety pages' longhand every day. Just free associating anything that comes to mind and writing it down. Then I shred the pages to get rid of the pain. (Seriously, sometimes I say, 'take that crippling anxiety disorder!' as the paper gets destroyed.

I get 1/2 an hour of exercise--even if it is just walking around the neighborhood. Though sometimes, when my anxiety is so bad I feel like I am going to die, I walk to a store. This way, if something is really wrong, someone will see.

I swear off caffeine after 12 noon.

Even with these 3 in place, sometimes the anxiety gets control no matter what. I have an Rx for the really bad times. I have used St. John's Wort too and it has helped.

Have you been to your doctor to discuss this Traci? You really should not have to suffer so much. I have had anxiety and I know how crippling it can be - it can take over your entire mind and life. But you can get help - honestly you can!

Of course everyone on here is more than happy to be here for you and to support and listen - but I feel you need a bit more than that right now.

Have you a partner, friend, relative or anyone you can literally pour your heart out to - tell them everything that bothering you, no matter how insignificant or unimportant you feel it might be?

Reach out Traci - no one is every alone. Be happy you have found this website and many, many women who understand and feel your pain. XXX
