Hi, i started taking sertraline 4 months ago now its not working?

i started taking sertraline 50 mg 4 months ago after taking citalopram for a year previous it took a good 8 or 9 weeks before i felt any better, but now im having more and more anxious days can anyone advise please?

    Hi Julie!

    You might need to increase the dose.

    I started on 50mg 11 months ago and I ended up taking 150mg which is the right dose for me .

    Speak with your doc !

      thanks yea i think maybe a bigfer dose will be the answer thanks

    Julie, it took me around 8 to 9 weeks for some affect. But i am now in week 17 and feel so much better. I am also on 50 and thinking about upping it next month. Each person is different. But I'm sure you will feel better. And if it seems like you are stuck and not getting the full affect, talk to your doctor, you might need to up it alittle.
