Hi, I've been taking Cipralex for 9 days now and I am cold, shivery and tired all the time. I'm wondering if perhaps these aren't for me. I have been taking 5mgs but have just upped to 10. Is this normal? Thanks for any replies.

Only your Doctor could advise you to your question, however i will say the benefits of the tablets take some time. Ive been on Cipralex for six months now and still feel tired but have had no experience of cold and shivery feelings. Simon. P.S. My comments on cipralex are no.14 on the site

    Hello there.

I have recently been prescribed Cipralex and am worried about the side effects. Having read all the comments here I feel I have some idea of what to expect although I am aware that medication affects people differently. Can anyone offer me any reassurances that it's worth taking?

Be patient, my experience was that odd effects pass with time and that Cipralex takes about 4 weeks to kick in with its full benefits. Good luck.:magic:

Like the other replies all I can say is persevere, it took 4 months for me to notice significant improvement.
