so around two weeks ago..the day before mothers day,i lied to my parents to sneak off with this guy i was talking to, hes 24, so later that night when we snuck off we had sex, i noticed a big pimple but it wasnt irritated it looked like it was part of his skin if that make sence. so i didnt think anything by it and kept going. it wasnt that following monday i started to experience symptoms of a uti, i already had antibiotic for it, then thats when i felt fitigue and had a killer head ache and a pretty bad sore throat....i thougth he gave me hiv but i read that it was to soon to tell, then once all those things went away soon after like 3 days later i felt itching  on my genitals, i scratched it, then eventually it became an open sore that was very irriated, then all of sudden i got a another blistter but its not an open sore then i notcied this on little cluster of blister...i didnt tell anyone and im panicing, my mom warned me about things like this and me and my dad arent on talking terms...what should i do?

Go see your doctor to get the sores swabbed for a culture. What happen about using a condom? When I was your age I caught gonorrhea and it was easily treated, but this herpes can be a nightmare. This is your wake up call and some of us have to learn the hard way.

By the sounds of things you have herpes, definitely go to the doctor and get a swab test done.

Dont panic too much, herpes has a different affect on everyone when it comes to severity, number of outbreaks per year etc

I suggest getting lots of rest, do not touch the sores as much as they are itchy! if you do always wash your hands immediately after, before touching any other part of your body.

I personally dont like putting chemicals on my body so instead of a cream which doesnt exactly treat the outbreak but stops the irritation,  I find 100% pure lavender essential oil dialuted with a bit of water effectively helps stop the irritation and icthiness, but ask a practitioner before doing so. Ive also read that salt baths twice a day help.

But always follow doctors instructions. I know it can be dauntind and awkward, I was diagnosed with herpes when I was 18 and cried for a couple days when I found out.

I took the tablets they told me to but they didnt really help, the outbreak only settled once I had stopped stressing. So my point is that if something works/doesnt work for you, tell the doctor and they can help suggest something else.

If youre scared out of your mind (you might not be and good on you if not) dont worry, there are so many professionals and support groups that can help you get through it.

Good luck with it all smile

Ok he used a condom, but if a part of body thats not covered by the condom is virally shedding and touches your skin , could be enough for you to contract herpes. His pubic area could of had it. Did you all have oral sex? Now are you beginning to understand the possibilities? Where was the big pimple?

it was above his penis, like on his pubic bone area on his right side....but the more i think about it im starting to  remember it looking like a wart...i actually told my mom tearlier today and she was understanding about it but very much disapointed...and she a M.A her self so she already told me what i may have other than genital herpes...she couldve checked for me but she my mom and it wouldve been very much awkward. but anyway she thinks from the description i told her that i may have canker sore but im still going to go get tested on tuesday
