Hi Erin,
You say that you feel the urge to pee when you laugh, sneeze or cough. Do you actually leak urine under these circumstances? If you do, it is known as 'stress incontinence' (there are other types such as 'urge' and 'mixed' incontinence and in my case, probably an 'overactive bladder'.) It's a nasty and potentially embarrassing condition which can eat away at your self-conidence, so you'll want to sort it out asap, I'm sure. I'm a 63 years old man and find it a most distressing complaint. There are plenty of helpful sites if you google 'stress incontinence' and were I you I think I'd do some on-line research and then, armed with the information you've gained, see your doctor as I feel sure there will be a solution to your problem. I'm far from an expert in this, but if I may say, you seem to be very young to have developed this particular problem.
I wish you well in your search for a speedy and happy outcome.
Take care.

If you drink any carbonated drinks like soda, this will make you pee alot. If you drink any caffeine drinks, like coffee, it will make you pee. Caffeine is a diuretic and the prescription pill lasix, both will.make you pee alot. Also any melon. Melons contain alot of water so you will.pee alot.
I have a condition called dribbing, so I used to pee alot because I have a false entry into my bladder so when I pee my bladder does not empty completely. I pee less now because on am on haemodialysis.
You should tell your parents to take you to a doctor if you live in the US. At your age, I don't know why you are having this problem. I am not a parent, so I don't know if you need your parents permission. I live in the US.
If you are in the UK you can go without your parents to a GUM clinic, which is a genitourinary medicine clinic and you don't have to give your real name. That is what I read on another medical problem on this website.
You should have this problem looked at now because it could get worse. As you get older, some people have to wear adult diapers or nappies.
You don't have to worry about going on haemodyalysis because I had a kidney disorder since 1985, it is a inherited or genetic disorder. And I have been on haemodialysis for 2 years now. I drink less water now, so I pee a little, during the morning, noon and at night. I pee while walking or sitting in a chair, it doesn't matter what I do or what I drink. I am 65 years old, so I hope you take care if this problem now.
My doctor never found out why I pee. I don't have BPH which is a prostate problem. You are too young to have a prostate problem.
Good luck in finding a cure for your problem.

If you still have urge to pee, you'd better go to see a doctor and he will tell you the cause and prescribe medicines for you. Good luck.
