Hi Is irritation normal following urethral stent/catheter removal? How long does it last

    Hi, I had 2 stents removed last Monday and must admit that I felt absolutely awful for the rest of the day.  Passing urine was very uncomfortable and I didn’t feel as if I could empty my bladder properly.  By the following day it was much improved and within a couple of days was almost back to normal.  

    I hope things improve for your soon.

      Oh, and make sure you drink plenty of fluids.  That seemed to help too,xx
