    hi weesue,

sorry to hear you are still in pain you have replied to me in the past when I was in pain especially when I was having bm trouble and in constant pain.I had posterior rectocele ssf.I'm now 12 weeks post op.,about to see my consultant for the first time since op.,like someone said previously thats nhs for you. are you in the uk ? your name suggests you could be . I'm still in constant pain (it is liveable with pain meds and rest) unable to walk very far,or stand for to long.bms are still a problem. like you I just hope this is still pain from healing .i am 70.so this could take me longer to recover from or maybe like you it could be nerve pain I do hope you get relief soon.is the nerve pain due to the fact they haven't taken the coil out or the result of them taking it out?.I wish I could cheer you up ,I suppose knowing that you're not alone with these horrible problems gives a small amount of comfort.take care weesue.

I had my A&P repair with a TOT bladder sling on 4/26/18. I am also suffering from what we believe is nerve damage (a 5% complication rate of the sgy). I have gone to PT for this for months...and still feel the internal thigh discomfort with every step and movement...worse on my right side. In the beginning - it felt like the entire inner thigh muscles/tendon was very tight and had a knife on it and taking steps felt like I had on cement boots. Now, it feels like I have constantly done a workout that has strained those muscles...like they are slightly ripped. My urine stream is also highly variant and can take what feels like forever to empty. If I lean forward and to the left (taking pressure off the right thigh/buttock area), it can sometimes allow me to better empty the bladder fully. In the research I have done...it seems that my only alternative option to living with this it to have the sling removed...but that is definitely no guarantee that the nerve damage would reverse. As I have read accounts of women that are truly not able to walk at all without a cane...I wonder if I should just feel grateful that all I have is moderate discomfort/pain. Initially the pain was severe to moderate...it is now just moderate. I know nerves take a very long time to heal due to the myelin sheath that is slow to recover....so I hope that perhaps by the one year mark this might get better. A gamble - but a safer one than having to go through another sgy without a guarantee of correction.

I am so sorry to learn that you are having problems, as well. If you have not found a PT trained in pelvic floor therapy - I would highly suggest doing so as it has helped enough to make it worthwhile. I wish you all the best in your recovery.
