I am about to try Borax first time, been looking at it and 🙏 It will help.
I need to know what measurement of Borax to water ? Also, should water be hot well you know warm ?
Thank you 😊

I tried 3 pinches in a small water bottle and pouring it on myself after loo visits but this caused my opening to be red and sore. I then reduced this to just 2 pinches but the same thing happened. I've been using bicarb rinses for a few months (a couple of teaspoons in a tumbler of water) 2-3 times per day and this has stopped any soreness plus coconut oil when I feel dry. I have still got the white patches so I'm experimenting again with the borax.. this time I am soaking a cotton wool pad (the same mixture as I used before in a bottle) and just dabbing my white areas - I have only been doing it this week and already the white bits aren't as noticeable. I am seeing a dermatologist next week and am debating whether to mention the borax but will definitely tell them about the bi-carb. Love the choice of words for your thread by the way - very appropriate and certainly the way we all feel

Hi Dunkin 👋🏼
I was diagnosed with LS about 16 years ago. Enjoying several years with no symptoms thankfully. Tho about six years ago I had surgery which now I know was ill advised.
However, as you know it is a sneaky condition that silently fuses and then bursts into flame 🔥
Dunkin, excuse my rhetoric, but at the moment having tried a myriad of treatments, I am somewhat sad and mad.
Drs and specialists are no further forward in treating LS now than couple of decades ago.! There is no money, funding so sadly no research.
I see Prof Kehoe in Birmingham and he is the most honest forthright professional I have seen with this disease, and he confirmed it as fact, when I asked specific questions.
So here we are discussing a laundry agent to help in the management of our very fragile vaginas 😳
Anyway, tried it last night, obviously no change. Tho, at least now I have started using another accessory, especially after just looking at the powder for a couple of weeks 😐
I did phone the company i ordered it from in the U.K. who confirmed it was the purest 20 Mule Team Borax. I even told him it was for bathing an area with a Gynae problem 🙊 Poor man was mortified but professional 😂
I have ordered a portable bidet so I can at least have Bath/shower without dealing with the Ugly LS goblin who wants to eat me and looks like this 👹
Specialists treatment has not changed and over the years I have seen plenty and plenty have seen 'me' so time will tell.
Thank goodness for this forum 🙏
OMGOODNESS I am writing far too much but will keep you posted
I hope you are managing Ugly and send ??

You could get 20 Mule Team in the UK? Where? How? I had to order it from somewhere in India and just hope it was ok (it was). Can you DM me details? I think if you post them here they'll get removed by a moderator, though maybe you could try, I'm sure there will be plenty of others who will ant to know. I've been using Borax for 18 months now and found it to be the only thing that helps. It's very slow though. Next purchase will be a portable bidet.

Ah, I tried one seller and they didn't send to UK, obviously I didn't spend enough time looking. Thanks Raw.

I use for borax (a little over 1/6 of a cup in a full bath) and rinses (warm water in a Perin bottle with three pinches dissolved) It is though a bit different from person to person. I couldn't handle a stronger solution.
?For baking soda baths I use 1/3 of a cup in the bath and three pinches in the spray bottle. I prefer warm water for both.

Thank you Hanny
I am 🙏 This helps
I ordered a portable bidet to fit on toilet so I can at least have the luxury of trying to enjoy ablutions, without concentrating on this all consuming Ugly👹LS
