HI - my son has just been diagnosed with Graves and is now on Carbimazole - it does seem to be helping - albeit slowly.
He has had terrible pain in his jaw - to which the dentist can find no cause - I was interested in seeing your email and wondered if you could tell me what kind of pain and where abouts in your jaw. My son has been referred to a specialist about this - but if it is the carbimazole.........
HOpe that you are feeling better now.
Cheers
Batty

Graves disease is a nightmare. I find it particularly difficult with the joint pains. I'm not a whinger, but side effects of hyperthyroiditis is joint pain. Somedays I can't lift my arm higher than 6 inches and it's agony all day...the next day its gone but transferred to a knuckle or something.
In short the jaw pain could be caused by Graves disease, these pains come from nowhere, cause agoany and go.
Stick with the Carbimazole...it has to be better than Radio Iodine for now.
Good luck
