What does your doctor say about the fact your infection does not appear to have cleared up completely? If it's still lingering I'd suggest you need to have another course of antibiotic, nasty though that can be, as you don't want resistant bugs to start building up in your system. When you can, start eating a fair amount of fermented foods, like some kinds of aged cheese, Brie, yoghurt, kefir, and the many vegetables in the sauerkraut family. If you aren't used to these, start very slowly, to allow your gut to adapt. You want to repopulate your gut with good bacteria and this is one way to do it. But like so many things, don't overdo it!

Re my earlier reply I realise I assumed that you have not been diagnosed with PMR. If you have then my reply was not very helpful and I apologise.

There are so many things that can be wrong that don't show up in an x-ray. For example costochondritis can cause pain in the chest area, a bulging or herniated disc in your neck can cause nerve impingement which can cause pain and tingling or numbness in your shoulder and arm, you could have fractured a rib if you coughed a lot with your chest infection. I've had two fractured ribs at different times and neither of them showed up on an X-ray but later showed up on a CT that had to be done for another reason. it can be very frustrating when a doctor dismisses your ill feelings. So you're going to have to advocate for yourself. I would demand a CT of your chest and neck. I have heard in your country it can take months to get one done so I would start now. here in the US we can usually get it done a little quicker but it cost one heck of a lot more money.
