Hi Stitch

Just wanted to say hello so that you don't feel ignored. I'm sure Jacee, Vanessa and Metermaid will all say hello too when they have time.

Have just read your profile. I too have a FEV1 of 34% and live in the Midlands!! Snap!

I was only diagnosed in August. Still getting to grips with it all really.

Nice to meet you,

Ann

    Hi Ann,

When I first read your profile last night, I did a double-take and wondered if I'd registered here under another name and forgot! I think we work in the same job too... there were just so many coincidences!

I was reading all the posts on copd last night, stayed up till 2am and so sad to see people going missing and others wondering what's happened to them. I've never seen a site where people show so much support and caring for each other. Things that I've suffered or worried about were all here in different threads.

Thank you for your welcome, Ann.

    Best wishes,

    Stitch

Welcome, Stitch. I've been reading your recent posts and have learned quite a lot. I'm a Newby, with a diagnosis which is probably all of 6 weeks old, so it's a steep learning curve.

I'm having a double-check of my FEV score on Friday and hope to join a Physiotherapy class at a local Health Centre. I'm walking for about 15 mins each day, but it has become so boring that I have now bought a small trampoline (about 6\" off the ground and about3'6\" across) with the intention of walking on that on the days when I can't be bothered, or the weather isn't favourable.

Keep posting so that I can keep on learning
