Help. I am currently having shortness of breath and some bloating last two months i know i am ovulating so its always does it but last two months been the shortness of breath. I do have a small sliding hiatal hernia and my anxiety is out the roof. I am on Protoniz (40) , low carb and low calorie diet. Lost 21lbs i thought maybe that was the reason its been worse. I been diagnose since 2017 but never bad issues just IBS -D. I just know if the hernia is flares up and if so what causes it? What else can i take and do to get it under control. I think about it and omg my anxiety is on 100. I want to get back to my old self i try not to think about it and work but its hard at times. I have heard Chiropractor, surgery, this and that...but i just need to know other opinion and options.. Please help what works for you .

well done for losing weight this is good for preventing further complications. PPI tablets can cause bloating, it may be a good idea to try kefir yoghurt drink it really helps with bloating. Also by taking a PPI tablet you will not be absorbing vitamins and minerals as well from your food, so it is a good idea to take supplements. A multi vitamin and mineral tablet every day would be a good idea. Vitamin and mineral deficiencies can cause problems with bloating, anxiety and breathing. You can get tested to see if you are deficient in a specific vitamin/mineral or you can just take a multi v&m daily tablet to see if it helps. If you have breathing symptoms hormonal changes like ovulation and menstruation can make it worse, but if it is constant you should be visiting your doctor to get some checks done.
