I have had it roughly 2 years and discovered what it was back in December, every week I get a different symptom and I scare myself thinking the worst, I have attended a&e twice with chest pain. I feel like I have a ball of hair stuck in my throat. did you feel this way?

Good luck with the surgery, I to have a very large hihatus hernia, I should have had surgery early last year but had flu and ended up leaving it. (Chicken)

Are you taking medication, I am taking Lansoprazole, I am concerned as I have been on it for a long time.

Hope all goes well hope to hear how you get on .

Yes exactly the same Hun sometimes food won't go down and gets stuck.. it's very scary but relax and it will go down if you get stressed it gets worse just eat little meals 4/6 times a day never have a big meal in one go..

Chest pain is constant my heart is beating to fast now on drugs to slow it down but it's normal..

can't wait till it's all over..

The pain I get under my leftside is so bad sometimes.. I have 6 pillows and my back is bad now .. it's strange how one hernia can cause so many problems.. I work full time and I find it so hard some days tired 24/7 no sleep..

where are you from if you don't mind me asking

Yes laparoscopic 5 hole esophageal hiatal hernia you can go to YouTube and put in hiatal hernia surgery it will show you what it's going to be like andit can take up to 6 month to recover fully it's a crazy surgery they had to lift my liver up and I'm sure they'll have to do the same for you make sure you go to a surgeon that is what he does or you'll be back in for another surgery for the same thing don't just have a regular surgeon do it go th one that does that stuff all day my dr has done over 10,000 so I new I was in good hands
