have had gallbladder removed but still morning nausea.  Still have hiatius hernia and wonder if its causing the nausea which dissipates as day goes on. Been blaming it all on 'anxiety' now wondering if its the hernia

I know when I had my gallbaldder removed it took a long time to feel normal. Pain from site, adhesions, and I simply couln't eat certain things- and a still don't seven years later. LIsten to your own body and take your time. If you had stones you can have tests to see if any are blocking a duct, which can sometimes occur. Best of luck- It is not such a simple surgery for everyone!

Thanks for your reply.   I didnt realise it could take a long time for things to return to normal. At least i have no pain, just ibs and i need to watch diet cery closely.  Cant face more tests looking for stones, i have bad anxiety and it would set me back.  You are right, its not such a simple surgery, i think i might have done without if id known
