Hi all! I have been having chest pain since yesterday and I 've noticed that when j burp the pain gets worse and passes. And I feel it going up my throat but on the left side only. I don't know what to take as I'm 12 weeks pregnant. All this causes me so much anxiety coz I don't know if my conditions will even make this pregnancy bearable. I plan on seeing a gp asap. can I take an antacid to see if that helps? please help!

I forgot to mention that I have had a very stressful couple of days. And at times I worry it could be my heart. I had a ECG done a few months ago, and all normal. now what???

Hi Christelle, I take it you have a hiatus hernia? I used to get regular horrendous pain attacks, so severe I wondered if I was having a heart attack. My son and daughter did some research and told me about The Bridge exercise, which I now do every morning in bed, ten times to the count of ten. I have since had only one minor episode. You can google The Bridge, seeing it will explain it better than I can do in words. I do hope it improves for you. Good luck!
