have you had a CT with contrast? That is the most accurate scan of the stomach. But as you say when you press on the pain it subsides, it makes me think you may have costochondritis. Look up the symptoms and see if it may be a possibility. Do any painkillers work or make the pain worse?

I have the same problems but it comes and goes. Some day, it seems more pain than the other. I have diverticulitis. Recently, I went ER in VN where they told me that I have stomatch problems. Indigestion as they said. I had x ray for my bile, duct, liver, etc... but it is clear. Still not sure what cause it. Anyway, the dr in VN give me antibiotic and the pain was gone. Now it comes back even though I have taken NEXIUM. So I wonder what it really is. I guess may be diverticulitis flare up. Good luck with your pain.

Insist on another ultrasound. It took nine months for my spigelian hernia to be identified only
after having a second scan nine months apart after all the other scans , CT, MRI, found nothing.
Apparently this type of hernia can be of "hidden" type. Has your doctor considered this as a possibility.
