Weight 58kg.Both my parents have high bp, but they got it at the age of 40+. will my future be dark? I am fed up.I'm asian.

Hi anonymous, are you exercising and when you say high how high, have they let you do a weeks monitor or a 24 hour monitor, you sound a bit anxious could this be the cause, at your age they should do further tests etc to find the cause

when i consult dr they found 140/90 , once 160/90 , but most of the times i found it 140/90. so they prescribed those medicine. then it started to drop 120/80. then dr suggested to give up betalock 25 mg 15 days monitoring, i checked 8 days and gave up and after another 7 days i started to take half olmisan and continued for 10 days. My bp was then 130/80 , 125/80.. But in a few days palpitation developed and i went to dr. he said abrupt change of betalock caused palpitation. then i had to take again . Now I'm continuing betalock, olmesan. BP 120/85 , 130/85 . but still palpitation going on.

How long since you have been back on beta blockers, yes you have to be weaned off them, you didn't say whether you exercise or not

Palpitations can be a common symptom of anxiety, do you have them all day every day or just at certain times, like bedtime or when you are maybe unsettled.
