High chloride levels concerned

Posted , 1 user is following.

Hi, i went into the ER to find out why i was bleeding, it turns out i have a UTI . Lab work came back with elevated chloride levels. I read it could be an electrolyte imbalance or kidney related. Problem is my chloride was high 3 months ago without the UTI and now its 10% higher. What can I take to lower my chloride or do I need a prescription? How can I find out what electrolytes I'm missing? Any information would be helpful. TIA.
