High Cortisol Supplements

Posted , 4 users are following.

I tested positive for high cortisol and low DHEA at the doctor's office. But everything I tried to help reduce cortisol is too stimulating by either increasing my anxiety or causing insomnia. I've tried, one at a time, Rhodiola, Ashwagandha, Holy Basil, and Phoshpasatidylserine. What's left to try?

Do you have a good doctor in your area?  Once that specializes in alternative medicine.  I have been spinning in circles with many of my health issues,  driving myself crazy trying to figure it out on my own.  But when I finally went v to the MD I know trained in India, an intrenal and holistic specialist,  and told him what I have done on my own and what I'm confused with he gave me guidance, helped me get the next supplements,  confirmed what I was doing was right also,  and also told me which pharmaceuticals might be necessary. Since he is orientated against pharmaceuticals, his opinion put me ease.  It's important to lower stress with healing.  Am I well?  Not yet.  I just c went yesterday and have another appointment with another alternative specialist. BUT, I feel less depressed and have a light of hope.  I'm broke,  going thru 4 year divorce,  no end in sight,  and insurance only covers some.  I have to put out money for hormone tests,  food allergies testing,  supplements,  etc, but the money was better spent when I had guidance.  I'm tired of searching online only to still be confused.  It's exhausting.  I urge you to find an alternative doctor in your area and just open up to him or her.  What you've done,  what your concerns are,  what's falling,  what you need help with. I have no Christmas presents for my kids this year,  but asking for help from someone with  knowledge is worth it.  Good luck.

See a good nature path.  It is all too complicated to figure out on you own.

I use 5-HTP. I don't know if it'd help you but you could look it up. I use Solgar because it's a quality brand; cheaper brands do nothing for me.
