HI yes it is I go to my dr with mine racing and she says oh your heart is racing I had 4 ECG'S now and it's normal I think it gets worst because your at there in the office I have been having them for about 8 years now I'm turning Post next month and seem be still getting them pounding racing skipping fluttering most people get them I wish mine would stop I don't like them, laying on the sofa and all you get is the pounding sound in your neck till it calms down..there is a time it feels like it stop but I think it's settle back down to the normal rate and love it but then the minute you get up it starts again.

I have taken magnesium to help my nerves and sleep issues. I was also told many years ago by my midwife to take brewers yeast. A powder I placed in my juice or even just water. It takes a few days to kick in. It used to make me calmer and relaxed.

At the start of peri I had bouts of 2 or 3 days where my heart rate was over 120 and I honestly thought I must gave something wrong with my heart. It almost felt like a panic attack so saw my cranial osteopath who assured me it was peri related - and she was so much more informed than my GP. I'm 50 now and it hasn't happened for about 2 years so think I'm entering the later stages of peri (please God) but I am achey, get a fair bit of ovary pain, and a good nights sleep is a distant memory!
try not to worry as it makes it worse and it will pass x
