High levels

I've been on taking risperidone for 3 years and nothing seems to be getting better. Been put on other medications for my anxiety and depression but during these 3 years I've been very fatigued, have irregular menstrual cycles that doctor couldn't explain. Finally my psychiatrist ordered teat for prolactin levels a month ago and they were at 141.9. He took me off the risperidone and just did a follow up teat last week and it dropped to 43. My family doctor has ordered an MRI to see if there is an adenoma. Should i be concerned about this or is ut just needs time to gwt bavk to normal? Any advice is helpful. Thanks

I wouldn't be too worried even if they find an adenoma?. If you do have one, they will likely put you on Cabergoline (which best if eased into at very low dosage) and then it will shrink and go away over time causing Prolactin to drop.
