Liver function tests are good and u/s also good - what does this mean and what can I do?
Help gratefully received. I am googling and very worried by what I read.

Forgot to say that liver stiffness test did not reveal any signs of fibrosis or cirrhosis.

What are your symptoms, and what worries you the most? Also, how old are you?

i am 61. I was having an annual routing abdominal u/s - following Breast Cancer 10 years ago. U/s detected a very small cyst so I was sent for the further liver scan.
the cyst is 1 cm and clear but during the echo scan the thickness of my liver was revealed.
None of the medical professionals have said much about this. I have drunk alcohol on a regular but moderate basis.

Hi Margaret83181. I wouldn't be too worried about one small liver cyst. Apparently they are quite common. My liver cysts are numerous & large, and impact considerably on my quality of life. However, not being a doctor myself, I've never heard that the 'thickness' of the liver was considered a problem.
