Higher dose of Sertraline 2 weeks, still feel crappy

Hi all.
I was first diagnosed with depression/anxiety in 2003. Was on 50mg Sertraline on and off for some years, but continuously since about 2013. Had the dose switched up to 100mg in 2019. I was feeling OK last summer, so had the dose tapered back down to 50mg.
Well...last couple of months or so, started going downhill again. Got so I wasn't sleeping and had lost my appetite. So, I contacted the docs and got my dose upped again to 100mg.
I've now been on the higher dose for two weeks, and for about the last week, the side effects have been GHASTLY. Constant nausea, reflux, globs of mucus in throat, heartburn - I've had heartburn on and off at odd times before, but not like this. I've got Omeprazole from the pharmacist, been taking that for a couple of days but I don't think it's kicked in yet. Getting resurgence of my health anxiety at times, which doesn't help (convinced the reflux is "really" cancer!). Oh yeah, and having trouble getting off to sleep - trying to sleep propped up, because of the heartburn - and when I do sleep, I get really weird dreams. Horrible ones, last night. Wake up, stay awake long enough to eat some breakfast and take my meds, then doze off again. Irony is, I feel in the afternoons/evenings that my mood/concentration/appetite might be improving a TINY bit, but the other stuff kind of counteracts that.
Anyone been here, got any hope for me? I thought having been on them this long, and had the higher dose before with no issues, it wouldn't be a problem raising it this time. Never had the side-effects like this. Wonder if it's the fact that I'm now post-menopausal? Anyone?
