Hip and back pain 6 months post total hip replacement

its over 6 months since my right total hip replacement. Things were going quite well with odd twinges which I put down to muscle healing etc. but now for the past few weeks I am getting more pain than pre op. My right lower back aches most of the time and although I have been managing walks of over 2 miles (sometimes 4 with rest stops) I find I get pain with each step. I have tried using walking poles or a stick but to no avail. It also hurts if I stand for more than 5 minutes. I am also having pain at the front of my thigh on and off (which I thought might be muscular) and now find lying on my operated side painful ( which I wasnt experiencing after 8 weeks post surgery. I have tried ibuprofen gel and tablets, painkillers and hot wheatie bag but things seem to be getting worse. It is getting me down as my husband recently had a heart procedure and needs to exercise and I am holding him back whereas prior to this ( in December ) 3 months post op I managed my first 10000 steps a day without discomfort.

i also find on getting up from a chair (even a high one) I get thigh pain for a few minutes as I weight bear. has anyone else experienced this and could offer advice?
