Hi I'm due to have my third arthroscopy procedure next months after my slipped epiphysis on the right hip aged 12 in 1982 I'm now 48 and surgeon says by doing this will give the damaged joint another 5years

    Hi Icker, pls let me know how you get on.  There is a Facebook page for people with SUFE and I think they would be grateful to hear your story and how SUFE is being treated. SUFE/SCFE Slipped Upper Femoral (capital) Epiphysis is the group.  It is a closed group so just request to be added and we will ad you. Hope your arthroscopy goes well.

    Hi had my 3rd hip arthroscopy in July and now walking only with one crutch this time had a bone graft using stem cells having physio and swimming to help the joint recover and mineral supplement
