Hi Marilyn, poor you! When did you have your op? I would take painkillers in your situation . I will be 12weeks post op tomorrow! Regards Amanda

Same think just happened to Mr when I came out of church this morning. Pain all gone now and still able to walk. Have heard tell such clicks can be the tendons, if it had dislocated we would both be on the way to AE, not discussing it on the forum (I hope)

I had my hip done 3 weeks tomorrow, my consultant said the best thing I can do is walking, how far were you walking at 3 weeks

I'd just be careful!  Just before my dislocation I felt this too, it was right after I'd been sat in a very low chair.  I was only 3/4 weeks post op though, I wasn't told anything when I left hospital like, don't sit on a low chair don't bend past 90 degrees and so on, therefor I did too much too soon, my muscles on the thr side were week to start with.  If it carries on clicking I'd phone your surgeon, I wouldn't put anyone in the pain I experienced! Good luck.

    hi marilyn

i am just 3 weeks post op and felt the clicking from 10 days onwards.  I was told by the physio this is normal and the muscles etc all coming into place. I am doing exercises at the moment and noticed it is not as frequent but still get some clicking.

seeing physio again next week so hoping it isnt clicking as much and she can monitor for me. will keep you advised if any more information
