Hip dysplasia with a cold foot

Hi I'm 31 and have hip dysplasia in both sides but the left is by far the more painful one. I have not had any surgery but have physiotherapy 1-2 hours a week privately. But my foot is really cold the last week or 2 is this normal or should I go back to my gp.

Absolutely see your dr. I hope you can consider thr for a pain free life. It will give you better mobility and less wear and tear on joints. Once hips are aligned properly the better your health and less risk to damage to nerves such as the cold foot you could be a circulation problem or a nerve issue.  The surgery is by far on of the best alternatives available if you are in a position to ask your dr for information .

The goal is less pain and complications in life .  Thr is one of the most common surgeries world wide. There are many good surgeons which can evaluate your hips and help give you a better quality of life. I am sorry to hear of the issues you face and in my experience thr has been done on both hips and has been pain free increased my mobility for over 22 years.
