hip operation writington

Just been told at writington hospital that I'm to have a hip replacement, can anyone tell me how long the waiting list is.

    You can call and ask them. It's always different. Ask for referral to a THR specialist soon.

    Be sure to ask the manufacturer and the time line in hospital as well as the many hope appliances available to make recovery easier and now tripping over rugs or animals. They usually give out a print out explaining all the restrictions in movement and precautions before surgery. See online all the necessary applications for home and recovery. Google hip replacement recovery.

    Hi Thomas,it's usually 6 weeks before your op. You need to call them & find out. please get all the help you can,regards Amanda
