If you're working or doing exercises or any other activity you may want to slow down. Place some ice in the area you're having pain for 10 minutes.

of not, consult with your doctor make sure is nothing serious.

I'm 11 months post op and at times I get some light pain bit that's because of work. I usually relax and do some short distance walking like around the block 2 to 3 blocks of walking.

You're what 8 months post op.

    Hi Diane

I am almost 12 weeks and get various aches and pains. Today I went up a few hilly bits and bum muscles are complaining. My surgeon said it takes 6 months to s year to get the full benefit. Sometimes my scar itches and feels tight but settles down again. Think it is par for the course

Rest up and see if it gets better

Hi Diane! I am just over 12weeks post op and still not great! I am having reflexology and going to have gentle swimming. Being a carer for my disabled hubby doesn't really help as I have had to do all sorts! I also have arthritis in my other hip and both knees! But one step at a time! Regards Amanda

Yes! But I was told my femur was very weak so this probably accounts for it, plus I'm a hairdresser so standing all day doesn't help, I'm a year out now but it hurts like hell if I really overdo it, just below the scar as you said, have you been x rayed since the op? X
