Hip pain after knee replacement

Im 10 weeks post op for right knee replacement .I was doing very well and starting to go for walks a bit longer each day and everything was fine .Then wham left hip became very painful ,now i can barely put any weight on it and only hobble around the house .Feeling very low as i was so pleased to be walking pain free .Has anyone else experienced this ? Am seeing PT on Tuesday hopefully she can help.

    I suffer with hip pain too, let me know how you get on. It is a major blow to our bodies so perhaps we can expect pain from the hip area. Best wishes Suzanne

    the body compensates in many ways. My hip pained me for a while after my op. My left TKR carried out last February is finally settling however my right knee which was nothing in comparison to the left has kicked in big time. Looks as if another op is imminent.
