I have a new pain, which I want to know how to fix it...

I have had Ankle Ligament Reconstruction surgery, after that I have pain inside knee when walking; recently I have pain also in Hip joint of the same leg... What is wrong? And what should I do?

Hi ... I guess you are putting more pressure on yr injured legs try to balance yr both legs equally while walking this might help from having pain at yr hip joint..

I had the same issue after my ankle surgery which was fractured and resulting to one plate and 9 screws.. I had so much of difficulties in walking recently saw my doctor and was adviced to balance my walking instead of putting pressure on both legs. I had issues on my better leg coz I had strain it more as I walk. Do try to use a square frame walking stick to move around till u are able to manage walking without pain speedy recovery to you 👍🏻

I have no idea but I'm glad to have found this. I'm about 6wks out after surgery and my hip of the injured leg is weak and it hurts. I'm not walking yet but any time I lift my leg or say, try to sit Indian style or similar movements, the joint hurts and it's really uncomfortable. I'm assuming it's out of deconditioning. I'm hoping to not have secondary injuries related to this ankle business. I'm so excited to start PT and I can't even stand it. I'm a fairly active person and I'm going crazy.
