Hip replacement 3 months

I had a total hip replacement over 3 months ago. I recently went back to work at a job that has alot of walking on ceramic tile. I am a 62 year woman who is over weight. My surgery went great. I'm walking fine, but I notice after a long day at work I'm soar and favoring the leg. A few suggestion - keep moving, do your exercises, and don't give up! My first Doctor I went to would not do the surgery until I lost 20 pounds. Don't know technical words, but he replaced hip on top of thigh. Went to a different doctor who did it on the side of thigh but robotically. Not cutting of muscles. HUGE difference in recovery. Secondly I had a spinal instead of anesthesia. Another big difference! I was in and out during surgery but in recovery I felt great. I went home that night. Am I soar somedays because of walking at work, but nothing like before I had the hip replaced. Find a doctor who uses robotics, accuracy of replacement critical. My family and friends are in shock by my recovery. I love this forum, so many questions addressed. Good luck.
