First, go to a chiropractor or PT. They will measure your heels and tell you how far off you are. Then they will adjust your hips. This may take two sessions a week for a few weeks until your hips hold the adjustment. No doctors, no pills, no orthotics.

This has happened to me a number of times (knee scopes, hip replacement, knee replacement) since our bodies subconsciously shift our gait to avoid pain. Te result is a pelvic tilt to one side that throws your hips out resulting in the uneven leg lengths. Simple fix and you'll feel a whole lot better.
