Hip replacement

I'm wondering if anyone who has had hip replacement had experienced aching around the area on the hip. I have no fever..my wound is healing nicely ( Had the surgery Dec 9 do its not even three months) I'm walking with a cane. But this ache appeared about three weeks ago. ive called my Surgeon's office and they put me on a strong anti-inflammatory for two weeks to see if it works. i just had an x-ray in January and all was fine. I do have sciatica so I'm wondering if its acting up. Still the ache seems to be in my right buttock. i know I'm still healing. id love to see responses from any of you really kind people and your take on this. oh and if it still persists ill go in to see my surgeon in about another week or so.

    With sciatica, you get pain in your buttocks. The surgery may have disturbed the sciatic nerve and given you a flare up.
