Hip Replacement- agony getting in to bed

My wife had hip replacement 8 days ago. I am desperate to help ease her pain, which seems to be worse when changing from standing to sitting. The pain doesn’t seem to be from the hip but the underside of her thigh and her buttock. There doesn’t appear to be any infection and she’s taking a lot of pain relief.
Maybe a trip to a physiotherapist, tomorrow, will help?

For restless legs I find a high dose magnesium taken with the last meal of the evening is brilliant.(or share out over the day) It is usually combined with B6 or Calcium. In "normal" life I only do this if I have had a later than normal or fairly rich meal. Constipation eat 2-4 uncooked prunes just before going to bed.Pain under th buttock feels like you are sitting on a stone? Seems to normal and in a month or so deep tissue massage will help. I had some 2 weeks ago 18months post op. I am 75
