Hip Revision last April (2015) still broken leg

Anyone had the situation, had a revision last April and they had to break the leg to remove old prostethic and it hasnt healed - still as broken as xray at month 4?

      He says we are in the doodoo. Yep been hobbling on it for 11 months - 8 weeks non weight baring. They are applying for funding for me to have 3m of ultrasound treatments at home to see if the bone growth will restart before we do surgery

      Goodness gracious me - now I understand the choice of name as well as appreciating it!

      What a situation! And what a horrible 'recovery'. How did they miss this in the follow-up x-ray?

      Wishing you tons of good luck going forward. I wish there was something more meaningful to offer.

    Where are you?  If in the UK, try to get referred to the experts - Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore - I have been referred there for my problem joint now, and feel much happier that they know what they are doing with me.
