Well here I am 60 hours since revision surgery.
Think I'm doing ok. Home Sunday (currently Friday night in New Zealand)
Thank goodness for drugs and great public hospital service here.
Not a lot of pain unless I move. Touch walking with crutches.
Surgeon said twice today during his visit that it was a big job.
Lots of muscle damage where it was rubbing. Glad I'm on the other side
. Looking forward to sleep.
Thanks for support.

My revision was far worse than my other two hip replacement but I had complicationd due to metal ball and metal shell fragments entering my body causing metal poisoning and corrosion of bone behind hip. I now have a plate and had bone grafting. A vascular surgeon had to cut away the pseudo tumor which was resting on a main artery prior to the orthapaedic surgeon doing his job. I now have a ceramic/titanium shell/ball which is great. I am now going further extensive physio to assist with the nerve/tendons and after 5 months am finally feeling that I am becoming human again! You said you had ceramic/titanium so will not have the issues I have had. All the best.
