Hi,
I haven't been on here for a couple of weeks. How are you all? what's been happening? i am the same weight i was 2 weeks ago i thought this would be a super duper weight loss cure, but its just not. I
I now do at least 2 hours of exercise every day, walking and horse riding and I bought a bike 2 weeks ago and cycled around all last week but no change in weight? OK i wasnt angelic last week as i was off work but i thought the exercise would do something.
It is really hard for me to lose weight, why? my weigh in is friday and i'd better have lost a pound cos i weighed myself today aswell as weighing on monday (obsessed) and its the same I'm really sticking to sensible controlled eating this week. I top up with omega capsules rathing than eating more fat in food, i really hope it works this week. 3 weeks ago i lost 2 pounds in one week which seemed amazing.

Well after being completely dissapointed I decided to take a break from the Orlistat and refind my focus. I started it back up about a week ago alongside the slimfast diet (a two probe attack!!). That combined with working shifts and running around a hot maternity unit seems to have stirred something but I don't want to speak too soon!
Will you be asking for reductil if you've had no loss at next weigh?? x

I too was disappointed with orlistat after losing 2 stone and am now on reductil, lost 5lbs in the first month which was much better than 1/2kg on orlistat. Apart from not sleeping well and a dry mouth I don't seem to have had any other side effects and when I went last week for my 1st months check up I was pleased to know that my BP had stayed the same, they certainly give you more energy and I'm up early and on the treadmill virtually every morning walking 2km.
Hope you get something and keep loosing.

Am reletively new here so well done to you all so far with what you are losing.
I thought it was great to begin with and was losing steadily but after three weeks seem to have come to a complete standstill and am pretty fed up about it. Any ideas ? r am i becoming too anxious too soon. Am soooooooooooo desperate to get this weight off and was sooooo positive but you know what its like, doesnt take much to get abit down hearted after all the effort we put in.

I too hit a plateau few weeks in. I've had a couple of days off the diet and pills and then I went back on them earlier in this week and it seems to have started to work again.
I'm not sure if it is psychological, that because I've eaten chips and a kebab I'm sticking to my diet more strictly.
I figure if I am going to get this weight to stay off I need to be able to have the occasional meal out so I don't feel guilty about it.
Keep going, as long as I'm not gaining I think this is a positive thing.

not been here for a while as I have been putting energies into job hunting. But still determined. Doc confused why I am not losing weight and why the tabs don't seem to be working that well. I had a week in Cornwall and, despite having a few clotted cream teas (wow. orgasmic!) had no side effects. Doc said I should have had major diahhrea but nothing.
I am going to see a dietician soon to see if that will help.
Now i have secured a new job I can consider joining a gym so that is bound to help. Feel the burn!!!
