Hiv symptoms

It’s so good to know that my first week rapid hiv is negative. But I just tested week after the possible exposure. I know I need to continue for 9 to 12 week to make sure. But I am concern because I had protected sex and immediately next day I got flu like symptoms fever night sweats white young and ulcer. That’s it till now. My first week test negative it’s not the final but what else then this symptoms can be?

    Is the 28 day " HDUO HIV 1&2 antibodies & P24 antigen " test not conclusive. Some clinics in london do it and say its conclusive. Unless it dependa on risk. Im not sure as im not a professional in this field or qualified. But great to hear your first one was and hope they all are.

      28 days mostly correct but some time it takes more time to detect. So after 3 months it’s conclusive. 

      I just know this info by reading stuff on internet as I am restless.

      Same boat as me mate. I know the feeling. I had a very low risk exposure but im freaking out. Aint had test yet. But im soooo scared.

      As you scared ... if no symptoms then you are fine.

      No symptoms. As for flu i always got blocked nose but thats due to me having nasal polyp surgery few years back and i have always got post nasal drip. But as for my encounter which im worried about, ive been told extremely low risk or no risk, it was with a female escort who fingered herself & im not sure but i think she may have licked her fingers or put her fingers in her mouth while doing this act. She kater kissed my lips probably 5-7 mins after doing this act, but i had mouth closed so she just like kissed my lips pressed on them. I've just been worried just incase she had vaginal fluid on her lips or in her mouth & could it of been possible at all for it to enter my mouth if it got on my lips. Obviously i dont know if she even has anything as she reassured me she aint got nothing. But i did not have sex with her or have any oral sex.

    But if you had protected then you should be ok. Maybe its just a coincidence you got flu symptoms after

      But night sweats ? Or all day sweat actually. That’s the main thing I am concerned about. Some timed pins and needles, 1 ulcer came and went in 15 hours till now. from Saturday I am having fever. Today is Thursday still it’s on and off fever.

    Do you know if the person you had sex with had HIV or are you just assuming

      The last test was done on September 2017. The person was from Venezuela. On back of that person there were permanent brown rashes but I thought they are from birth. Now when I am reading details about hiv I think they were hiv rashes. 

      The sex was protected but oral sex was there too. 

      I just don’t have sore throats, diarrhea, headache. So ore than half symptoms are present. 

      I know what’s coming . Till morning I was thinking it might be different. But with this later symptoms I know it’s that.

      Tbh i do it to read online for symptoms but for real i think we shouldnt as sometimes it sits in your head & everytime something happens we think its HIV. Ive cut down on looking on the net as i know it messes with my head real bad.

      If your realy worried which you are & i wouldnt blame you as im like that too, then the only way you will get peace of mind is to have a test which i know is a terrifying part to waiting for results. But hope your ok which hopefully you will be.

      Thanks for reply. My influenza test came positive. I will keep testing for hiv for 90 days.

    Early Symptoms of HIV

      Thanks for reply. My influenza test came positive. But we can’t rule out hiv. Hi mono and influenza have same symptoms. 

      The symptoms you mentioned I just had flu like symptoms out of that which is fever. But I had swollen lymp node and night sweats.
