HIV1 and HIV2

Hello Community,
I was wondering if there is any test that can detect antigens for HIV type 2.
Doing some research online, I could only find information about HIV 1 antigen P24.
Is there any ways to know if you have HIV 2 before seroconversion is completed.
Thanks in advance.

As I can't deal with the stress of not being sure of my status. I did multiple test and even after 3 months I was negative.
That being said, I still experience weird stuff on my skin (forehead mostly) and on the genitals (seems like candidas that keeps coming back). Along with that I had a stepthroat for like over a month and Athlete feets (which never happened before).
Stress is definetely eating me alive.

Hey, I'm kind of in a similar situation, I think I might've gotten infected 2 months ago. What were your symptoms in the acute stage? I didn't hear anyone mentioning HIV 2, what makes you suspect that you have it? Are you from Africa or India?

I'm in West Africa for work. Still experiencing lots of symptoms even months after and am tripping the f*** out as I am also testing negative until now. But I am still really tired, like not normal at all. I experience digestive problems, nails problem as they are becoming blue and sketchy. I can't do sports for a long period. I had sore throat for months now and lymph nodes are hurting 1 day out of 2.
You can see my other post for more explanations about my symptoms.

Hi Mimi,
**Any updates on your situation? **On my part I just passed the 5th and 1/2 month and I am still negative up until now.
But I keep getting worries as my neck lymphnode is still swollen, same for my left underpit and now I do feel pain in my groin. My anxiety has reach a level I could not expect it to reach. The fact that I don't know what going on with me drives me crazy.
